A UK teenager lost his sight, but soon after discovered that he had Psychic abilities.

As recently reported by the dailyrecord.co.uk, Dominic Boag was just a regular teen before he lost his vision.

Dominic was a normal teenager who dreamed of being a policeman before a rare disease which affected his nerves almost wiped out his vision.

But after becoming almost blind, he found he had developed a “sixth sense”.

And he has now qualified as a spiritual medium and started up his own business.

Dominic said: “They say that when you lose one sense, the others become stronger – and I really have developed a sixth sense since losing my sight.

“There are cynics but people tell me I have a talent. I am doing really well with something I wouldn’t have found had I still been able to see.”

Dominic, 20, from Port Glasgow, Renfrewshire, runs his business around his day job at a call centre.

He said: “People ask me if I would give up communicating with the spirits to get my sight back but I feel like this has helped me through the journey of losing my sight and I could never turn my back on it.”

He added that his most memorable contact was with his late dad, ex-Morton Football Club captain John Boag.

He said: “My dad kept repeating, ‘I’m still here, I’m still here’. It was nice to hear his voice again.”

After the collapse of Kim Kardashians marriage, viewers of this seasons “Kourtney and Kim Take New York” have been watching to see just how the breakup occurred, and now it seems that a famous Psychic Medium may have played a role!

Swedish police have enlisted the help of a Clairvoyant in the search for missing 82 year old man after the Psychic contacted the missing mans family with visions of his location.

As recently reported by thelocal.se, the Swedish police devoted an entire day to investigating the Clairvoyant’s visions.

”We process all leads that come in. We must investigate everything, even if it seems unlikely,” said Thomas Hertzberg of the Värmland police to daily Dagens Nyheter (DN).

The missing man had last been seen in Torsby, western Sweden, at the end of last year. Since his disappearance, police have been conducting an extensive investigation, including search parties and helicopters.

The psychic, who had been in contact with the missing man’s family, said she had a vision of the man “in an old building near a blue cottage with white windows”.

According to DN, the woman had prophesized that the missing man would be found ‘to the north of Sysslebäck,’ a nearby village, and the police began searching the area for blue cottages with white windows.

While the police have not paid the clairvoyant for the information, they did assign a whole day’s work to her visions. The missing man has still not been found.

Hertzberg told the paper that it isn’t that uncommon for police to use psychics in their investigations.

“Psychics are often involved when we look for missing people. Many clairvoyants actively approach the missing person’s relatives,” said Hertzberg to DN.

During the Christmas season, even an infrequent guest will notice a striking difference in the atmosphere at the Perkins Stone Mansion, home to the Summit County Historical Society.

In October, visitors flock to the mansion with the hopes of catching a glimpse of the spirits of three generations of Perkins family members who lived there. The mansion rarely disappoints guests who attend ghost tours and paranormal pizza parties as the three-story home embraces its eerie reputation, exuding an unsettled feeling of forboding. Photos taken by guests make claims of the presence of otherworldly spirits difficult to dismiss.

“Clearly, these stories of oral history and folklore have been passed down through generations. They are now being accepted in society. It’s a good way to explain the history and we invite people to experience the house for themselves,” said historical society Director Leianne Neff Heppner.

By mid-November, after volunteers have dressed the house in its Christmas finery, those same visitors experience a warmth in the mansion, as if being folded in a loving embrace.

It could be the subdued lights shining from the Christmas tree in the parlor, or it could just be the early darkness that seems to make the mansion feel cozier. People take home from their visits what they will, said Heppner, who tries to share the home’s history in different ways. “I want to share the stories of the house and I want to tell the stories of the home,” she said. I believe there are a lot of things in that house, but it is the first one I’ve worked in that I haven’t been scared.”

The mansion, completed in 1837, was built by Col. Simon Perkins, son of Akron founder Gen. Simon Perkins, for his wife, Grace Tod Perkins and their 11 children. The home is one of the finest examples of Greek Revival architecture in Ohio, Heppner said.

In the past three years, the historical society has tried some innovative ways to interest people in learning about the area’s history and the contributions made by the family. Fewer than 2 percent of the society’s membership of 400-500 people attend its programs, she said.

“History is not really popular with the general public. We need to find other ways to interest them,” she said.

The paranormal activities in October and outreach programs for children and adults bring people to the mansion who have never before visited. Plans for a murder mystery, being written by interns and graduate students Rebecca Kirschbaum of Cleveland State University and Stephanie Bingham of Kent State, are under way.

With different types of programming, the society is reaching a new group of people.

“We are attracting a different population that traditionally wouldn’t come, and we have found those people keep coming back,” Heppner said.

Until 2008, the mansion was shown only as a museum, but hints of paranormal activity led the historical society to open its doors for special events related to Halloween. During a 2006 fundraiser for the Junior League of Akron, several room designers saw and heard things that could not be easily explained.

Eventually, the home’s reputation as a source of spiritual energy found its way to Laura Lyn of Cuyahoga Falls, who describes herself as a trance channeler and psychic medium.

When Heppner and Lyn connected a few years ago, ideas for using the home in different ways flowed like the energy that fills the mansion. They embarked on a partnership of sorts to foster events for people in search of answers and guidance from a different realm.

Lyn, who owns the Angel Rays Enrichment Center in Cuyahoga Falls, conducts programs at the mansion called Realm to Realm that are more than just fundraisers for the society, Heppner said.

“Sincere is the best word to describe her,” Heppner said of Lyn. “She is a normal person who has an ability that I don’t have.”

During a recent Realm to Realm session, Lyn tried to explain why the house projected a different kind of energy in October than it did in November.

“Around Thanksgiving and Christmas, the house is very welcoming because even though there was so much turmoil here in the past … there was great love here,” Lyn explained to 11 people who sat around the mansion’s dining room table.

Lyn, who offers psychic development and spiritual classes and angel readings, feels and sees the energy each guest projects, called an aura, and explains how that energy affects him or her. She searches for spirit guides and loved ones who have passed and relays their messages.

“I feel as if I have a foot in each realm,” she said during a recent interview.

Lyn explains to participants that each person has personal guides and angels as she reads and relays their suggestions on the best paths to follow in life.

“It’s going to come through as puzzle pieces,” Lyn told the group, which included police officers Tom Robson and Michelle Duke, paranormal investigators from Zanesville.

Jill Earvin, Jane Uber and Judith Abood, sisters from Cuyahoga Falls, didn’t seem surprised when Lyn told them their mother was in the room and very skeptical of the proceedings.

“She’s not disapproving. She’s curious and wants to know what’s going on,” Lyn said. The women, who grew up on Akron’s North Hill, got their spiritual side from their grandmother, they said.

“I smell cigarette smoke,” Duke interrupted just before Uber started coughing and had to leave the table.

“Mom was a smoker,” Abood explained.

Jill Urbank, also of Cuyahoga Falls, said she was looking for a connection with her late husband on the first anniversary of his death. Lyn told her that although her husband wasn’t there, a spirit guide was standing near her.

“He’s an unconditional friend who is always going to be with you all of your life. He won’t let anything happen to you,” she said.

As Lyn proceeded from one person to the next, she said she was reluctant to tell Steve Morgan, 27, of Akron, that he had a hitchhiking spirit connected to him who had died when he was 25 years old.

“You aren’t going to believe this,” she told Morgan. “The spirit connected with you at a sports arena. He is staying with you because he enjoys the ride.”

She said the man, who she named as Todd Saxton, died in a traffic accident.

“Never drink and drive,” Lyn warned Morgan as the lights in the chandelier dimmed and flickered.

After the event, Morgan admitted he had some experience with drinking and driving and was taking Lyn’s warning seriously. Would he drink and drive again?

“Hell, no,” Morgan said.

Recently reported by wibw.com, a new Psychic lead by a Texas Psychic has sparked a renewed search for baby Lisa. The new lead came from a Texas Psychic Reader who drew a sketch of a vision she had and posted it online; local residents recognized the sketch.

The search area was based on the vision of a psychic from Texas. She said she saw a river by a tower and other elements that locals connected to this property.

Police have conducted multiple searches in the seven weeks since baby Lisa disappeared, but they said they will not be participating in this one.

Lisa’s father, Jeremy Irwin, called 911 about 4 a.m. Oct. 4 to say that someone had snatched his daughter from her crib in her Northland home while she was sleeping. Her mother, Debbie Bradley, initially said she last saw her daughter about 10:30 p.m. but later admitted she had drank heavily in the hours before her daughter went missing and last remembered seeing her daughter at about 6:30 p.m.

Lisa was 10 months old at the time of her disappearance. Her first birthday was Nov. 11.

Police said they have received multiple tips from multiple psychics but none that have provided anything useful.

The psychic behind Saturday’s effort drew a sketch of what she saw, posted it on her blog and people living in the Kansas City area made a connection to the old Sam’s Town property.

The psychic told KCTV5 News by phone that she envisioned not just the area but a person with a baby.

“And then they (the people in her vision) came out and then they went down and they went into the river and then there was this tower beside it, and then I drew a big pole. It was like I was there, it was like I could see all of these things,” said Stephanie Almaguer.

Another item that sparked Almaguer’s interest was the railroad tracks that go through the property and a photo someone else posted on her blog showing a collapsed piece of gravel where she believes someone could be buried. So that will be a big focus of the search.

Around 11:30 a.m., those searching found an old well that matched the psychic’s vision and called police for assistance.

“Because of what was in her dream. She dreamed there was a well and some metal back in through here and we found the metal here and then of course our well. We stuck a stick down here at least eight to 10 feet down and still can’t find the bottom,” said Judi Shea, of Kansas City, MO.

A detective arrived on scene and went with the volunteers to identify the area. As he was leaving, he said he didn’t know if police would return.

While some of the people who gathered Saturday morning to participate in the search are the same ones who’ve been in the thick of the baby Lisa mystery since day one, others were joining for the first time.

“My niece is the one who got me to Stephanie’s blog. I was really leery of it, but I do believe in the afterlife, so I kept watching and watching and I finally had Stephanie do a reading on me, and she hit a lot of points, so I feel Stephanie is true blue,” said Pat Elliott of Independence. “She knows what she’s talking about.”

Almaguer said she will not be at the search because she couldn’t afford the airfare.

The search ended around 12:30 p.m., but the citizen searchers said they hope to return Sunday to dig around some more.

Psychic perception may come to us through any of our five senses. If through the sense of sight, it is called “clairvoyance,” which literally means “to see clearly.” If through the sense of hearing, it is “clairaudience.” If through the sense of touch or feeling, it is “clairsentience.” If through the sense of smell, it’s called “clairolfaction.”

I don’t know what it’s called if the psychic information comes through the sense of taste, if there’s such a thing.

However, I have come across at least two persons who receive psychic information through the sense of smell. They discovered such a gift or talent in my class on ESP. Since they attended my seminars many years ago, I have never heard of anybody else with the same psychic ability. It seems this is not a very common one.

Interesting letter

But recently, I received a very interesting letter about this rare psychic ability from a reader named Karen Padayhag. Here’s her letter:

“After reading your book “Understanding The Psychic Powers of Man,” containing the different psychic manifestations, I was amazed. I remembered that I usually smell something different in places that are considered to be haunted or in funerals.

“During my father’s funeral, I smelled this unusual smell—and I continue to smell this in every funeral I go to.

With one of the first studies of its kind, researchers at Washington University say they are unlocking the process our brain uses to make these everyday near-future predictions. But hold on stockbrokers, Wall Street analysts and crystal ball readers: The study also discovered why we may not be as good at predicting events down the road.

It’s about what Jeffrey Zacks, associate professor of psychology at Washington University and lead study author calls our “stream of consciousness.” When his team focused on the mid-brain dopamine system, an evolutionary ancient system that signals the rest of the brain to predict events, they also found the brain encodes prediction error when we are forced to choose what happens next. That’s why we’re sometimes wrong.

“I can predict the future, and so can you,” says Zacks, “and it’s not extrasensory perception. It’s just using the information in front of us to predict what’s happening all the time. It’s so ubiquitous that we don’t even notice. But from time to time, we mess up, and what we’ve found here is that messing up corresponds to a fundamental element in our stream of consciousness.”

However, not everyone has a good stream of consciousness, and that’s what happens to people who are aging, or suffering from early-stage Alzheimer’s disease, neurological diseases or brain injuries. Scientists believe they can use this information about how we segment events to figure out how to treat people who have trouble making these connections.

Predicting the near future is an important part of guiding behavior, language processing and learning, says Zacks, whose research will be published in the December edition of the Journal of Cognitive Neuroscience.

Zacks and other researchers asked a group of healthy, young volunteers to watch movies of everyday events such as someone washing a car and doing laundry. The volunteers were asked to predict what would happen next when the movie was stopped. When it was stopped in the middle of a scene, participants were more than 90 percent correct in predicting what would happen next. But when shown a completely new scene and asked to predict what would happen in the next five seconds, they were less than 80 percent correct, and much less confident in predicting the outcome.

Researchers then used MRI exams to watch midbrain activity, and discovered the brain responses “really light up at hard times, like crossing the event boundary and when the subjects were told they had made the wrong choice,” Zacks says.

“A big chunk of the brain is devoted to figuring out what is going to happen next,” he says. “These studies show that mechanisms operate when we understand everyday activities. The parts of the brain that are specialized for tracking predictions are on the job, and they tell us when a meaningful event has ended and a new one has started. When they go south, it has consequences for understanding and memory.”

Bulgaria Honors Famed Clairvoyant Baba Vanga

As recently reported by novinite.com, Bulgaria’s famous Clairvoyant Vangelia Gushterova, known as Baba (Grandmother) Vanga is remembered Sunday with a mass served in her honor.

August 7th will mark the 15th anniversary of Vanga’s death and scores are expected to gather at the “Rupite” site in Bulgaria’s southwestern town of Petrich, sometimes referred to as the Jerusalem of the Balkans.

Each year, the crowds include not only Bulgarian intellectuals, artists and common Bulgarian people, but pilgrims from all over the world, sometimes as far as China.

The mass will be served by the Vicar in Petrich, Angel Kolev.

Vanga was born in Petrich in 1911 and lived there until her death. She lost her sight at the age of 12 during a sudden strong storm when she was carried away by powerful winds and later found buried under a pile of rocks in a field. In 1925 she was placed at a special facility for the blind and spent three years there, but when her stepmother died, Vanga returned home to help care for her younger siblings. Soon after, her psychic abilities become known across Bulgaria and later the world. Vanga used to explain them with the presence of invisible creatures of unclear origin around her.

She died in August 1911, but the town of Petrich still feels her magic.

The neighborhood near Vanga’s church, St. Petka, is recognized as a place charged with powerful positive energy. The Saturday mass will be served at this same church.
